Code of conduct for students

All admitted students of this Institution must follow this code of conduct for promoting a safe and efficient learning climate by enforcing behavioral standards.

1.       All shall be disciplined while studying in Institution.

2.       All students must uphold academic integrity; respect all persons and their rights etc.

3.       All students must deter from indulging in any or all from of misconduct which can affect the institute‘s interest and regulation substantially.

4.        Intentionally damaging or destroying institute property or property of other students will not be accepted.

5.       Strict actions can be taken by the authority if

·         She will be unable to produce the identity card, issued by the Institution.

·         Organize meeting and processions without permission from the Institution.

·         Accepting membership of religious or terrorist groups banned by the institute/ Government of India.

·         Smoking in the campus area.

·         Throwing waste or empty bottles in the campus of the institute.

·         Parking a vehicle in no parking zone.

·         Rash driving that may cause any inconvenience to other.

·         Theft or unauthorized access to other resources.

·         Misbehavior in classroom or during any activity of the institute.

6.       Students are expected not to interact with media persons on the campus without the permission of the institute authorities.

7.       Student is not permitted to provide audio- video clipping of any activity of the campus to media without prior permission.

8.       They must use social media usefully and responsibly.

9.       Students must not indulge in any form of harassment which is defined as severe and objectionable conduct, a conduct that is motivated on the basis of a person’s race, color national or ethnic origin, citizenship, sex, religion, age, and gender, physical or mental disability.

10.   Students must follow the rules and regulations of affiliating University related to admission, examination, assessment, attendance etc.

If there is a case against a student for a possible breach of code of conduct then a committee will be formed to recommend a suitable disciplinary action. The committee may meet with student to ascertain the misconduct and suggest disciplinary action based on the nature of misconduct and student is liable to follow them.  

 

 

Ethics of a teacher

This is a fact that proper nurturing of intellectual honesty in student’s mind will help to enrich their faculty of knowledge, morality, values and ethics.  For this it is important for the teachers and students to understand that values and moral have a cognitive dimension and values and attitudes are developed within an affective domain. A sensitive teacher can imbibe moral and ethical value in his/her students. If a child observes his teachers to be truthful and honest, he/she will absorb their virtues. So as in educator, it is our duty it follow a code of conduct.

1.       The conduct behavior and practices while providing any kind of services of a teacher should always be in the well fare of students and Institution.

2.       Teacher should always believe in the worth of dignity, importance of truth and devotion to excellence.

3.       Her/she should nurture democratic principles.

4.       A teacher should be an impartial motivator, disciplined professional, honest and optimist mentor.

5.       A teacher should try to form the character of his pupils, strengthen their mind, and expend their intellect by which they can stand on their own feet.

6.       His knowledge should be unconditional; his behavior should be impartial; his actions should be prudent; his approach should be motivational and encouraging and his life should be full of wisdom.

7.       His responsibility should be tied to the basic tasks and its standards such as legislation and the curriculum.

8.       A teacher should show high commitment in taking responsibilities, respect high tolerance, non-discriminating compassion and better understanding of his students.

9.       A teacher should

·         provide equal opportunities to his learners.

·         promote reasoned argument and respect for other rights.

·         show open mindedness and social coherence in his behavior at work place.

·         show kindness towards   humanity.

·         help student to develop values.

·         strive for his/her continuous professional development.

·         create a culture that encourages purposeful collaboration and dialogue among colleagues.

·         refrain from accepting any gift or favor that night impair or appear to influence professional decisions or action.

·         avoid insulting colleagues especially in the presence of pupils, other teachers, officials or parents.

·         respect the professional standards and opinions of colleagues.

·         maintain confidentiality of information concerning to professional field.

·         accept responsibility to protect freedom to teachers.
