About IQAC (Internal Quality Assurance Cell )

As per National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) guidelines every accredited institution should establish an Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) as a post-accreditation quality sustenance measure. IQAC was conceived as a mechanism to build and ensure a quality culture at the institutional level. The IQAC is meant for planning, guiding and maintaining Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Enhancement (QE) activities of the institution. Since quality enhancement is a continuous process, the IQAC becomes a part of the institution's system and works towards realization of the goals of quality enhancement and sustenance. The prime task of the IQAC is to develop a system for conscious, consistent and catalytic improvement in the overall performance of institutions. IQAC of Govt. College was set up on 8th Jan 2014. Presently there are five faculty members  who are contributing under the chairmanship of Principal Dr. Asha Saharan. Alumnae and other members including retired Prof. also contribute time to time to ensure quality of the institute.
