Farewell Function on the Retirement of Principal, Dr. Asha Rani Saharan

GCW, Hisar organized the retirement ceremony of Dr. Asha Saharan, Principal of this College on 31.01.2023. The members of various faculties shared their views and discussed the achievements of the Principal. After taking charge as Principal in June 2019, under his effective leadership, Government College for Women, Hisar has emerged as a prestigious college in Haryana as per the vision and mission of the institution. Under the supervision of Dr. Asha Saharan, the college has become a safe, green, clean, drug-free, tobacco-free, and ragging-free campus. Due to their continuous efforts towards an eco-friendly and sustainable environment, the college has received District Green Champion Award from MGNCRE. Best practices like “Hunar Hai To Kadar Hai” and “Joy of Giving” was started. During Madam's tenure, the NAAC Team inspected the college for the first time and the college got a "B" grade. On this occasion, the Principal, her family members, friends, and the entire teaching and non-teaching family of the college were present.
