A Webinar on "Internet Related Sexual Offence for Girls and Women to Safeguard Them against such Practices" Organized by Computer Science Department

A webinar under the aegis of CSR and Delhi Police was organized by the Computer Science Department on 04.01.2023 in which the chief speaker was the Assistant Commissioner of Delhi Police, Mr. H. S. Randhawa. First of all, Inspector Anil Yadav, working in the Cyber Cell of Delhi Police threw light on cybercrime. He said that cybercrime started in India in the year 2000. The Indian Cyber Organization is taking action very fast to control cybercrime. Madam Anuja told the girl students about cyberstalking and cyberbullying.
He told that cybercrime is carried out in three ways, impractical conduct, contact, and content. She also told about various acts of the Indian Penal Code like IPC 507,66E,499,509, 354A D related to cybercrime. Madam Pragya Kaushik threw light on various activities related to cybercrime and told that CSR and Delhi Police keep organizing such programs in various colleges and universities on the topic of digital security. A total of 90 Computer Science students attended this webinar.
