An Extension Lecture on "Awareness about the Legal Rights of Women" Organized by the Women Cell

An Extension Lecture for awareness about the legal rights of women was organized by the Women Cell on 13.02.2023. The main speaker of this program was Dr. Ritu Nain, Advocate District Court, Hisar. She informed the girl students of the college about their judicial rights, she told that what kind of violence women are subjected to in the family. He explained in detail to the girl students about different types of laws like Dowry Prohibition Act, Domestic Violence Act, Equal Pay Act etc. He told how to complain about it. Dr. Ritu apprised about the laws of the Indian Penal Court and told how amendments are being made in it from time to time. A total of 83 students attended this lecture.
