Participation in the Pulse Polio Campaign

Fourteen Red Cross Volunteers (Students) of the government college for Women Hisar participated in the Pulse Polio campaign organized by the Civil Hospital Hisar on dated 3-5 march. They actively did the work as given to them by the Civil Hospital Authorities. They visited the different localities of the Hisar district and administered polio drops to children below five years old under the guidance of instructors. The active involvement of dedicated volunteers, combined with the support of the local community, played a crucial role in advancing the cause of polio eradication. This campaign not only contributes to national health goals but also underscores the importance of community engagement in achieving public health objectives. Principal, Dr. Ramesh Arya congratulated the volunteers for participating in this type of social event and serving society. Dr. Anita Taneja Red Cross convener also motivated and congratulated the volunteers to connect with this noble cause.
