Two Weeks Online Personality Development Workshop “Employability Skills”

Two Weeks Online Personality Development Workshop "Employability Skills" was organized by the Placement Cell from 22.08.2022 to 07.09.2022 for graduation/ post-graduation pass-out students of the college. The purpose of this workshop was to familiarize participants with the emerging ideas and trends on how to develop personality and communication skills in 21st-century contexts. The keynote speaker of the workshop was Arvinder Kaur, Trainer, Nandi Foundation, Mahindra Pride Classes.
In this workshop, the resource person explained in detail communication skills (writing and presentational skills), personality traits, body language, time management, and interview skills. She told every topic in a very simple and interesting manner and motivated the students to improve their personalities. A mock interview was also conducted for the students to enhance their capability to face the interview efficiently and full of confidence. This was followed by a question and interaction session where the students showed their keen interest by asking relevant questions to the resource person. Principal Dr. Asha Saharan motivated the students and said that such workshops should be organized from time to time to enhance their knowledge of the students. Ms. Anita Taneja, the convener of this event, also talked about the understanding one’s own personality and nurturing it well enables one to be a fine human being and an effective professional and gave a sincere vote of thanks to the resource person. A total of 50 girl students participated in this program and they learned a lot from this workshop.
