Department of Commerce in Collaboration with Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) organised a webinar on the topic “Young Investor Awareness” on 02.06.2021.The objective of this webinar is to create financial literacy among students. The resource person of this webinar was Mr. Jaffrudin and Smt. Shakuntla Pareek who is Financial Education Trainer by NISM &Resource Person of Bombay Stock Exchange. Smt. Shakuntla Pareek gave information about different savings and investment options of Banking system, Post-office such as PPF, FD, RD, Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana , Gold schemes etc. Mr Jaffrudin explained the process of working of Mutual funds and how to select a scheme at the time of investment in Mutual Funds and in share market. He is also made aware students about the different fraud of the net banking system and how you can be protected from these frauds. Total 95 students of our college from different stream were participated in this event.
