Celebration of World AIDS Day by the Red Cross and Red Ribbon Club

Red Ribbon Club in collaboration with NSS organized various activities on the occasion of the theme of World AIDS Day “Let Communities Lead” from 27.11.2023 to 10.01.2023. Purpose of these activities to make aware the students about the HIV/AIDS.
Activities done-
• Weared Red Ribbon by the students.
• Shown HIV/AIDS awareness documentary films to the students.
• Formed Red Ribbon Human Chain by students.
• Decorated college trees with red ribbons with awareness massages of HIV/AIDS.
• Media coverage of activities also done.
Principal Dr. Eliza Kundu addressed the students and informed them how to be safe and secure from severe deceases like HIV/AIDS. Dr. Anita Taneja, the convener of the Red Ribbon Club also motivated the students to be aware of HIV/AIDS and make aware the other persons about this. Dr. Neelam Dhaiya, Ms. Heena, Ms. Shaina, Dr. Harsha, Dr. Kamlesh, and Mr. Anil also presented in these activities. 76 students participated in this program and felt informed about HIV/AIDS.
