Road Safety Campaign

A Road Safety Campaign was conducted by the joint efforts of Traffic Interpretation Center, National Service Scheme and Red Cross Club on 03.03.2023. This campaign was launched in Arya Nagar itself where a seven-day NSS camp is being organized. An awareness rally on road safety and digital awareness was taken out by the volunteers. The rally started from Government Senior Secondary School, Arya Nagar and reached the school via residential area, market and bus stand. During this, the volunteers also presented a street play near the bus stand. The villagers were motivated to follow the rules of road safety. Along with this, topics like digital awareness, blood donation - great donation, organ donation etc. were also told. This was followed by a seminar on road safety. Traffic Police Inspector Mr. Gajendra Singh Gautam participated in this as the main speaker. He told the volunteers that being a youth volunteer, it is our duty not only to follow the rules of road safety but also to bring awareness in the society. Mr. Satish Singla, In-charge Traffic Interpretation Center, NSS Program Officer Mrs. Parveen and Mrs. Shaina thanked the guests, school teachers and staff.
